VCD Senior Exhibition 2021
Drafts

This exhibition website was developed as part of the Visual Communication Design
program, where I led the entire UI/UX and coding processes in 2021. The core concept of the project is inspired by the Panopticon model, reinterpreted through the themes of surveillance, being watched, and digital visibility.

The online exhibition was designed as a borderless digital space that exceeds physical limits, allowing participants and viewers to meet within a shared virtual environment. By translating the Panopticon from a physical structure into a digital context, the project explores how surveillance no longer exists solely within prisons, but has become an integral part of our everyday online presence.

In this virtual world, users are both observers and the observed—digital entities who willingly participate in systems of surveillance. At the same time, the platform reflects how data, location, and interaction traces are constantly accessible, reminding viewers that visibility and control coexist in contemporary digital spaces. Through this approach, the exhibition invites users to question surveillance not only as a system of control, but also as a shared and reflective experience.
